ROBERT Peapell is to stand trial for allegedly breaching an Anti-Social Behaviour Order banning him from his old school.
The 18-year-old, of Beechcroft Road, Upper Stratton, is accused of being in the vicinity of Kingsdown School on three occasions.
He admitted breaking the order on March 13 but denied two other breaches at Swindon Magistrates' Court.
The ASBO was issued in June last year after Peapell was convicted of being part of a gang which was terrorising the Upper Stratton school.
An order was also taken out against another teenager Daniel Archard, who was 17 at the time.
The gang would hang around the school at the end of the day, verbally abusing teachers and pupils.
Both youths are banned from going near the school grounds between 8am and 6pm during term time. Peapell is alleged to have been seen by a teaching assistant breaching the ban on March 11 and April 19.
He elected to be tried by the magistrates' court and a pre-trial review will be held on June 9.
During the hearing, he also admitted breaching a community punishment and rehabilitation order made in February for a shoplifting offence.
The court heard that he failed to turn up for community service on two occasions.
Rob Ross, for the defence, said he had been visiting his brother in jail at the time.
He is on remand, and facing a significant prison term, said Mr Ross.
Magistrates ordered Peapell to complete an extra 10 hours community service.
He was released on unconditional bail.
