A MAN was attacked and robbed in Swindon's Canal Walk underpass. The 22-year-old was heading towards the town centre when two men approached between 8 to 8.30pm on Friday, April 29.
One grabbed him from behind and demanded his wallet but he refused to give it.
There was a struggle and he was punched in the stomach.
They dragged him backwards and forced him to the ground, before rifling through his pockets.
They made off with his mobile phone and wallet, which contained £10 and a number of credit cards.
One of the attackers is in his early 20s, 5ft 9in tall, in a blue baseball cap with a white marking that could be a Nike tick.
He was also wearing white shell-suit type trousers and top.
The other is in his mid 20s, 6ft, with a shaven head and stubble. He was wearing a blue hooded top and blue jeans.
Anybody who witnessed the incident, or has information should call PC Marc Jackson of Swindon Police on 01793 528111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
