ELECTION results were the last thing on the minds of these fun-loving pensioners.
They were partying to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Age Concern Swindon day care service which is their lifeline.
Around 20 OAPs enjoyed cakes, an old fashioned singalong, music and a visit from the mayor, Peter Stoddart, at Fessey House, Haydon Wick.
Pensioners are picked up from home, and enjoy a meal and a chat with friends at the centre
Care assistant Jane Gallow said: "They loved the singing, and helped make floral decorations for the mayor.
"We had about 20 old folk here. This club is vital to them. Without it they wouldn't get to see anyone, it's so important for them to get together and socialise.
"It was a great way to celebrate our five years here at Fessey House.
Age Concern is funded by local and national government and charity fundraising.
