Celebrations were in order at the Premier Club over the weekend following AFC Stratton's 2-0 victory over Bradford Town in the final of the Corsham Print Senior Cup.
The underdogs for the tie, the Swindon side snapped up their chances, battled well and were good value for their success.
A triumphant Stratton boss Tony Dyer said: "It was a great team performance, all the young lads in the side ran their hearts out and really wanted to get their hands on trophy.
"Brian Blake, at the centre of the defence played a blinder and won everything in the air, when they did get past him keeper Darryl Smith made a couple of great stops.
"Not blowing our own trumpet but assistant Ian Restell and myself made the decision to bring on Rick Casey midway through the second half and he immediately scored a second. I believe you call it an inspired substitution."
Favourites Bradford faced a stiff breeze in the first 45 minutes and never really got to grips with a lively Stratton side. They began to get in the picture more just before the break and a good effort from Russell Francis forced the Stratton keeper to make a great stop.
Minutes later the Swindon side were in front when Ricky Mazzotta turned his marker and beat the Bradford keeper with a well-placed drive. After the interval Bradford came out with all guns firing and Stratton were forced to defend their lead.
However, midway through the half, sub Casey came on and crashed in a shot from just inside the area to start the celebrations.
Bradford fought hard to get back into the game but some stout defending helped to bring the silverwear back to Kingsdown.
Bradford boss Mark Hodgkinson said: We had our chances, but fair play to Stratton they took their chances well.
I think their league position doesn't do them justice."
Bradford's despair sooned turned to joy when they heard that Cricklade had been held to a goaless draw by Marlborough Town enabling Bradford to finish in runners-up spot to give them a chance to join the Screwfix League.
Cricklade were looking forward to Hellenic status and to fall at the last hurdle was disappointing after a very good season.
County Ground lifted the Fountain Trophies Junior Cup beating holders Blunsdon Unted 2-1.
"It's a happy but sad occasion," said County Ground secretary Janice Kuczynski. "The club is folding after 12 years and I suppose you can say it's a good way to go."
County Ground looked the sharper side in the first half and took the lead on the half hour with a strike from Dean Hughes. The same player also had a hand in the second sending in a great cross for Kevin Taylor to add a second.
After the break Blunsdon pushed forward looking to pull a goal back but County Ground defended well until the closing stages when Mark Gunter struck to ensure a hectic last few minutes to the game.
New College ended the season with a 2-0 win over Pewsey Vale to finish fourth in the table, John Edmunds and David Pratt scoring.
Marlborough Town Reserves ended their season in Junior One with a 1-0 win over Lower Stratton their fifth victory on the trot, leading scorer Danny Sly getting the all important goal.
Despite being docked two points for not fulfilling a fixture Castle Combe won their last two games to become Junior Two champions by a point from AFC Abbey Rodbourne.
Combe were made to fight hard for their victory over Wroughton Reserves before eventually running out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from James Pope, Alex Blake and Mike Lloyd with Rich Saunders on target for Wroughton.
