77327-31FUN was the order of the day at a May Fair in the Pinehurst Community Centre.
But those who went along also remembered Arthur Archer, the life-time president of the Pinehurst Community Association, who died last Tuesday.
Eleanor Baughn, secretary of the Community Association, said: "The fair was held in memory of Arthur. Everybody is always talking about him.
"It was a bit of a rainy day but the fair went well.
"We had stalls, children's rides and a bouncy castle.
"There was also a wrestling show and netball.
"I was rushed off my feet all day but it looked as though everybody was enjoying themselves."
