LOWLY workers may think life is good at the top, and so it should be.
But for many directors and managers, life at the cutting edge of business is not always champagne and caviar.
Many are still prone to nagging doubts about their businesses, and while others miss the cut and thrust of everyday business in their early years, some still need some good old-fashioned advice.
Now TEC Chief Executives Working Together has organised a morning masterclass to help the bosses achieve more.
The organisation is made up of selected chief executives and managing directors. The groups hold regular meetings with the chairman in their own offices and meetings focus on an individual member's business.
The meeting, called Walking with Tigers, will concentrate on how to make your sales force even more effective.
Using research gleaned from more than 400 top sales people in 20 countries the organisation says that the master class will give ways of producing a master plan to improve business sales, joining the 'ranks of the greats'. There will then be a thought-provoking session where chief executives and the managing director will discover simple tools and techniques designed to help transform their businesses and help them feel less isolated at the top.
Mike Watson of the TEC said: "The masterclass is an invaluable opportunity to learn about the traits of highly successful chief executives and managing directors.
"It will also give top businessmen and women the opportunity to experience the benefits of the TEC Group for themselves. Members of the organisation are able to discuss business issues openly with others in a similar situation.
"Often they can understand what is at stake and then offer advice based on their own personal experience.''

The event takes place at the De Vere Hotel in Shaw Ridge, West Swindon on Tuesday, May 24. The free meeting runs from 8am to 12.30pm and will include breakfast and lunch.
