Malmesbury were defeated by Rockhampton in a low scoring match.
Malmesbury batted first but both openers Ed Shellard and Richard Mosdell went cheaply in the opening overs and then faced with an accurate double-pronged spin attack the middle order never quite made the acceleration required.
Set just over 150, Rockhampton were dealt an early blow when Mosdell skittled the opener, but then runs came at a steady pace.
The introduction of the Ollie Langton and Richard Gaunt slowed the progress but Malmesbury were never able to send the run rate over four an over.
Rockhampton's target was finally reached with just under three overs to spare.
