WHITE Horse junior football club experienced mixed success at last weekend's 5-a-side tournaments.
The Calne-based club were represented at the Trowbridge tournament by the Under 7s, Under 8s and Under 9s and Under 11s.
The Under 11s reached the semi-finals while the Under 8s went unbeaten all day.
Three Under 9 sides represented White Horse in the Sunday tournament held at Salisbury City FC.
The C team, lost all five of their games, whereas the B team failed to win their group after coming up against tough opposition against Laverstock and Ford A.
An excellent performance from the A side in their group, and a sudden death goal in their semi-final meant that the Under 9s met Laverstock and Ford in the final.
In a close-fought game, White Horse ran out 1-0 winners to lift their first trophy of the tournament season.
