THERE have been a couple of letters recently about grass verges, footpaths and cycle tracks inferring that these places should be used for the purposes that they were designed.
There have also been complaints about dogs and their owners.
While I agree totally that dogs should not be fouling the pavements and grass verges, I think you will find in the Greenmeadow, Haydon Wick and Whitworth Road areas, the poor animals wouldn't be able find room to because the areas are being used for car parking.
Whereas once is was only two wheels on the pavement it is now four not one car at a time but two and three. Not only is this practice an eyesore, it is also exceedingly dangerous. What can be done about this menace?
