GAZETTE & HERALD: Police are investigating a spate of attacks on cars in Neston which they believe could have been carried out by the same offenders.
Five vehicles were attacked on Friday night causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
The first car, a Volkswagon parked in Westwells, had a window smashed and a stereo worth £100 stolen between 9pm Friday and 8am Saturday.
A Suzuki van parked in Locks Cross had its rear window smashed between 8.45pm Friday and 6am Saturday, causing £200 damage.
A rear quarter light on a car parked in Fieldwood Close was smashed between 7pm Friday and 8.30am Saturday.
A front side window on a car in Wadsworth Lane was broken between midnight and 8am on Saturday, causing £50 damage. The car was searched but there was nothing to steal inside the vehicle.
