GAZETTE & HERALD: The official launch of Corsham Festival 2005 will be celebrated at a special concert starring the Bristol University Singers.
The event will take place at St Bartholomew's Church, Corsham, on Saturday at 7.30pm.
This renowned group of 30 singers will perform some of the greatest works from the choral repertoire, encompassing music from the Renaissance to the present day.
Standing alongside the magnificence of Purcell and Tallis, two accessible works by Michael Tippett will provide an appropriate introduction to the Tippett centenary celebrations taking place during Corsham Festival 2005.
Tickets for the Bristol University Singers concert will cost £10 and are available from The Pound Arts Centre box office on (01249) 701628.
