TRISTAN Marsh has become the fourth generation of his family to run a High Street business in Marlborough.
Mr Marsh, 25, has taken over The Entertainment Centre by the Town Hall from Steve Keen, who started it two years ago.
After working in the shop for the last year Mr Marsh has taken over, retailing computer games, gadgets and accessories.
Mr Keen is continuing to run his business of selling, building and repairing computers under the name TEC from the basement beneath the shop.
Former art student Mr Marsh is continuing a family tradition going back at least four generations.
His late great-grandfather Frank Marsh kept the Green Dragon public house in the town's main street for many years.
Mr Marsh's grandfather John was formerly a partner in Bells Garage and then opened the Motor Aids car accessory shop with Mr Marsh's father Philip.
Mr Marsh said: "I had been helping Steve run the Entertainment Centre and when the chance came to take it over I jumped at it.
"There can't be many people who can claim to be the fourth generation running a business in the same town."
The former St John's student went on to study art at Swindon College but said he preferred running his own business.
His shop specialises in difficult to find computer games.
