PERFORMING arts students at New College in Swindon will perform their last show of the year next week.
The BTEC students will put on a production of Midsummer Night's Dream, which will be a modern interpretation of the original Shakespeare play.
The 19 cast members in the show have been rehearsing since last September.
Kim Lauf, 18, from Marlborough, is playing Titania.
She said: "It's our graduation show and the culmination of two years of hard work and great camaraderie.
"Beyond just the performing, we've all been instrumental in all the hard work behind the scenes of every production, from technical production to set design and stage management."
Claire Wheatley, 18 from Grange Park, plays Hermia.
She said: "I'm quite a lot like Hermia and have really related to her throughout the process.
"Like me Hermia says what she thinks and is quite feisty. In fact, most of us were cast as characters that in some way reflect our personalities."
A Midsummer Night's Dream is running at the New College's Phoenix Theatre on Wednesday, 18 and Thursday, 19 May at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £3.50 and may be purchased by ringing 01793 732861.
