SWINDON CANCER APPEAL:THE results of a golf tournament in aid of the Swindon Cancer Appeal have been announced.
Fifteen teams gathered at the Castle Combe Golf Course, Chippenham, paying £400 each to take part. Among those taking part were two teams from the Evening Advertiser's parent company Newsquest. Bloor Homes the event's main sponsor also submitted two teams.
In February the Swindon Cancer Appeal reached its target of £600,000 and now its aim is £1m, with about £700,000 raised so far.

Texas Scramble: James Trudgian, David Jackson, Owen Houlihan and Neville Smith from the front line and Simon Edgington, Ian Lawson, Keith Lodge and Rob Budgen from the back.

Longest Drive: Sam Tanner
