I have to ask for suggestions from the Marlborough public as to the reason why only four councillors (Coun S Dobson, Coun M Cooper, Coun M. Hannaford and Coun R Allen) voted to express "regret for the financial mismanagement, whilst recognising the success of the 2004 celebrations"?

The other 11 voted against regret.

I am not a stupid woman, but I am unable to comprehend why the people (apart from those four) who collectively look after our money are not sorry!

Can't trust the Mayor, can't trust the Town Clerk, no regrets from most councillors ... suggestions please?

A Allen
