Road safety pays dividends is the initiative being launched by Fleet Support Group at its conference at Castle Combe Golf Club on May 17.
The company, based at Methuen Park, Chippenham, is one of the largest independent vehicle management company in the UK, providing support and advice to fleet operators and individual drivers.
Solicitor Kevin Basnett, of Wiltshire law firm Goughs' Calne office, is a regular panelist at the annual conference and will be talking to an audience of FSG's clients and potential clients from around the UK on the subject of corporate manslaughter.
His presentation will refer to disasters such as the Herald of Free Enterprise and the King's Cross fire; the call for law reform, The Corporate Manslaughter Bill published in March and its likely effect on businesses.
Also making presentations will be Alan Hunt from Wiltshire Police and Errol Taylor from RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents).
