WINSLEY CRICKET: WINSLEY suffered an opening day disaster at home to Conglesbury on Saturday as they crashed to a 102 run defeat.
After limiting the visitors to 169-7, a depleted Winsley batting line up collapsed as they were bowled out for 67 to get their Bristol and North Somerset campaign off to the worst possible start.
With six regular first team players unavailable, including star Indian all-rounder Kunal More, Winsley were always going to be up against it but were disappointed not to put up a better fight.
Vice-captain Pete Orchard said: "It was a complete disaster. We bowled and fielded quite well but it was all down hill from there.
"Unfortunately we have the same problem for tomorrow's trip to Pak-Bristolians but hopefully we will be put up a better show."
