STUDENTS who took part in a charity challenge presented a cheque for nearly £1,000 to support a community sensory garden on Friday.
Year 8 pupils from the Clarendon College, Trowbridge, held a day of events in March to raise money for the town's sensory garden.
Angela Milroy, chairman of the Friends of Trowbridge Community Sensory Garden, said: "We were astonished and delighted to receive their amazing cheque.
"The young people must have worked tremendously hard to raise such a large amount. We sincerely thank them and their teachers for thinking of use and for all their efforts."
Some of the money has been earmarked to go towards creating a performance space in the garden, which will be available for young people to use.
