A SWINDON firm has guaranteed hours of summer fun for children with emotional difficulties.

The Dettol Foundation, an initiative started by Swindon cleaning products manufacturer, Reckitt Benckiser, has donated outdoor games worth £300 to Marlborough House.

Marlborough House is part of the Swindon and Marlborough NHS Trust and provides a service for young people between 12 and 18 who suffer from severe emotional difficulties from the Swindon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area.

The house's Adolescent Unit has recently been rebuilt, but there were no outdoor games for patients.

Now all that has changed following the donation from the Dettol Foundation a.

Emma Gilbert, a spokeswoman for the Dettol Foundation said: "Marlborough House clearly makes a huge difference to the lives of those it serves and we are only too pleased to able to help their cause."

Kate Hannam, the general manager of the house, said: "We are extremely thankful for the help and support the Dettol Foundation has given.

"The purchase of outside play and sports equipment will greatly enhance the quality of life for patients."
