Race for Life is three weeks early with 6,000 women entering the Cancer Research UK fundraiser.
The 5km run is on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5. It has been extended to two days. Now is the time to start raising funds.
The target is £390,000, which will contribute to a UK total of £23 million.
Race for Life is using technology developed with online fundraiser Justgiving to allow women to create their own webpage. Justgiving is a tax-efficient way to make donations, with Cancer Research UK receiving an extra 28 per cent from UK taxpayers.
Karina Morgan, Swindon's race organiser, said: "While strict limits mean that we are not able to exceed race capacity, with so many events throughout the summer we hope that women wanting to take part will be able to join in one of the other races."
