INFORMATION about affordable ownership will be available in Swindon next weekend.
Swindon Council will hold a stall outside Debenhams in the town centre from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, May 21, to promote its shared ownership schemes.
To combat the problems caused by rising house prices, the council is negotiating with developers and housing associations to provide more shared ownership homes in the town.
Shared ownership allows a buyer to purchase a proportion of their home and pay rent on the rest of it.
The buyer can then increase their share of the home over time when they can afford to do so.
