PUPILS at a Swindon secondary school where both the business manager and headteacher are off sick have been given a letter about the situation.
Ridgeway School in Wroughton is currently without headteacher Elizabeth Cooper and business manager Astrid Morris. Peter Lay, chairman of the school governors, said the pair were 'on a period of certified sick leave from the school.'
He added that the school's two deputy head teachers and the executive leadership team were coping admirably with the smooth running of the school and had their full support.
