I HAVE noticed over the past few months there have been a lot of complaints from people and organisations over speed cameras.

I would like to know exactly what their problem is. Don't they realise there is a law in this country on speeding and the police are there to enforce it, as well as to safeguard me, you and our children?

Why should anybody oppose speed cameras if they are abiding by the speed limits? Police statistics show there are drivers who exceed the maximum speed limit every day.

All I can say is people who oppose speed cameras are the people who pass you at 70mph on the motorway.

Let's stop listening to people whose only aim in life is to criticise the police, and start listening to the people with the facts. Speeding kills, end of story.
