Above: Winterslow Primary School staff go back to the '50s for Summer Days, from Grease. DA7936P7TEN out of ten was the verdict of everyone who attended a Stars In Their Eyes show at Winterslow village hall on Saturday night.
The talent show was organised by the Friends of Winterslow School, to raise money for a number of school projects, including the expensive refurbishment of the toilet block.
There were nine acts altogether and performances included those by headteacher Peter Ward and his entire staff, who portrayed the cast of Grease, and the vicar of Winterslow, the Reverend Nils Bersweden, as well as parents and friends.
Mr Ward said: "It was a good fun community event and the feedback from everyone who went is extremely positive.
"Everyone enjoyed themselves and it was a successful fundraising evening."
Mr Ward said it was hoped the refurbishment of the toilets would get under way this year.
