WILTSHIRE YOUTH LEAGUE: U13 Red Division - BIDDESTONE were bowled out for 55 in just 21 overs at home to Red Division leaders Wootton Bassett.
The wickets were shared by Sam Packer (3-5 off 4 overs), Ravi Samant (2-8 off 6 overs), Jack Paish (2-5 off 4 overs), Sam Munton (1-11) and Joe Gaastra (1-7).
Bassett then lost four quick wickets before Packer (14no) and Samant (12no) guided the visitors to a six wicket victory in just 11 overs.
Jamie Howells took 2-7 for Biddestone.
Owen Alsop (58) and George Bissett (27) put on 85 for the second wicket as Cannings reached 167-7 in their home match against Swindon.
Elliott Knight (3-23 off 7 overs) was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors. In reply, Swindon lost three early wickets before being saved by Chris Aubrey who made 65 not out and enabled Swindon to total 130-6 and achieve the draw.
Jake Roberts (3-9 off 7 overs) and Matthew Lever (2-25 off 6 overs) took the wickets for Cannings.
Malmesbury batted first at Devizes and slumped to 44-5 after 20 overs with Jack Hopper taking 2-11 off his seven overs. Anthony Cole (39no) and Theo Humphries (29no) then rescued the visitors as they added 77 in the last 15 overs to take Malmesbury to 117-5.
Cole (3-5) then bowled superbly and he was well supported by Ben Saunders (2-7), Sam Brown (2-5) and James Pickering (2-14). Only Hopper (30) offered any resistance as Devizes were dismissed for 68 in 25 overs to leave Malmesbury winners by 49 runs.
U13 Blue Division
SOUTH Wilts are leading the way in the Blue Division following their 143 run victory at Westbury.
The South Wilts' opening pair of Owain Phillips (64) and Ben Upton (80) dominated the Westbury bowling and helped their side reach an impressive 201-3 declared in 33 overs.
Accurate bowling from Dominic Webb (3-14 off 7 overs), Shaun Dixon (2-3 off 7 overs) and Max Huntley (3-3 off 4 overs) was too much for the home side who were dismissed for just 58 with two overs remaining.
Purton conceded their match against Chippenham.
