FORESTDALE Hotels, which owns the Goddard Arms in Old Town has acquired the 75-bed Winchester Royal Hotel in Winchester for £3 million.
It brings the group's number of hotels to 19 in the UK and one in France. Forestdale also owns the Stratton House Hotel, Cirencester.
