A new business will be opening in Wootton Bassett at the end of the month.
Building merchants Travis Perkins will open for business on May 31 from their new base at units 1 and 2 at the Coped Hall roundabout site opposite the Prince of Wales pub.
Tony Laws, who has recently been working in Swindon, will be the branch manager of the offices.
Three other jobs have been created, two have been taken by people from the Wootton Bassett area and one from Calne.
Mr Laws said: "The positioning of Wootton Bassett is very handy and is a good place for businesses."
Chairman of the Wootton Bassett Chamber of Commerce Brian Taylor said: "It's great news that units like that are being snapped up.
"It shows that Bassett is a healthy place for business and it can only make us more competitive."
Travis Perkins is one of the leading companies in the builder's merchanting and home improvement markets and was last year voted Builder's Merchants of the Year.
New town mayor Chris Wannell will cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony on May 31.
