HREOD Parkway School won the Swindon Schools Football Association Cup after beating Wootton Bassett School in the final.
Hreod won through to the final, held at Swindon Supermarine last Wednesday, after their previous victories over Bradon Forest in the quarter finals and Dorcan in the semi finals.
With players from both teams familiar to each other through youth football it was always going to be a tight game.
Both schools started strongly and the Swindon-based school took the lead after 15 minutes with a goal from Josh Skeates.
Bassett then battled back well and forced some elastic saves from Hreod keeper Conor Jeffries.
But it was Hreod who doubled their lead with a fine goal from Ryan Elliot. The Bassett side never gave up, winning them many fans, as they continued to press forward with Connor Thompson consistently going close.
However, Hreod sealed the victory with a third and final goal from Josh Parsons. As champions Hreod will now represent Swindon in the National Competition later this year.
