FORMER Arsenal and England goalkeeper Bob Wilson is the guest of honour at Bromham Football Club's presentation evening at Devizes Corn Exchange on Thursday, May 26.
Mr Wilson, who was also the anchor man for BBC TV sports programmes for many years, will speak at the event which has been organised to raise money for essential upgrading at the club's ground.
Club vice chairman Carey Thompson said: "We have recently gone up to the Wilts premier league and we desperately need new changing and toilet facilities.
"We are delighted to have been able to get Mr Wilson for this event and we hope to have a full house on the night."
Some tickets are still available for the event, which is at 7.30pm for 8pm. They can be picked up, at £30 each, from Village Veg in The Brittox or by phoning Carol Thompson on (01380) 850388.
