Young people's charity Stepping Forward has received funding to open a youth group for people aged 13-15.
The money has come from the Parks and East Walcot Neighbourhood Renewal Company.
Qualified youth workers will run the groups and representatives from Youth Information Swindon will be available.
Dorothy Brown, from The Shop in Cavendish Square, has also offered to open her doors for young people interested in computers and the internet.
Su Quinn, from Stepping Forward, said: "There is the opportunity for us to open on other evenings once we find out what the young people want from the youth club.
"So come along, shoot some pool, play table tennis, listen to music, chill out and make some new friends." The club is also seeking volunteers to help out at the youth club and run the tuck shop. The youth workers will talk to youngsters attending to find out what they want to do at the club.
Staff will also be available if any young person feels they would benefit from additional help.
The club will run every Wednesday 4.30-7.30pm at St Johns Church hall. For more information call 01793 531166.
