A TEAM of Romanian pilots have been visiting organisers of the Royal International Air Tattoo.
The fact-finding delegation from the Romanian Air Force visited the show's headquarters at Fairford for advice for an airshow it plans to stage near Bucharest in 2006.
The Romanians will be bringing four classic MiG-21 fighters to the show, held in July, and their participation is a major coup for show organisers.
Air tattoo director Tim Prince said he felt honoured that the Romanians should look to RIAT for advice on how to run their own.
He said: "We are more than happy to help them.
"In order for airshows to have a healthy future, I believe it is important that we all help and support each other so that the industry as a whole can grow."
