SUPPORT services for young people excluded from mainstream schools in Wiltshire are improving.
Ofsted inspectors found the county's Young People's Support Service had made significant progress since the last inspection uncovered serious weaknesses.
The service was said to be satisfactory.
The report says: "This is a good and rapidly improving service that has made great strides since its last inspection.
"Students achieve well and teaching and learning are good.
"The service is led and managed well.
"The outreach service to prevent the exclusion of students from the mainstream is very good."
Nigel Gilhespy , who heads the committee which runs the services welcomed the improvements.
"It is good to know the service is moving in the right direction," he said.
