IN answer to the letter from Mr Chandler on May 12, I want your readers to know the truth. Hilary Cripps was unanimously elected mayor elect in February.
I cannot understand why Councillors Hannaford, Dobson and Allen waited until Mayor making to try to spoil a very special and well-earned honour for a hard working and dedicated councillor.
