A £5,000 reward is up for grabs in a bid to solve a spate of violent Post Office robberies that have taken place over the past two years.
Thieves have struck at about a dozen post offices in north and west Wiltshire, getting away with an estimated total haul of £200,000.
Brave postmaster Richard Tovell, 75, was the most recent victim at his Lypiatt Road post office, Corsham. Other similar thefts have taken place in post offices in Trowbridge, Southwick, Chippenham, Melksham, Frome, Rode and Bath. The reward is being offered by Royal Mail. Anyone with information should contact DS Auburn at Warminster police.
