Lizzy Ellery, Katie Brew and Ella Gregory who are studing textilesA DAZZLING catwalk will be created at New College so students can show off the clothes they have designed.
The show Fabrication will feature work by talented first and second year textiles students and themes will include retro, Japanese, floral and insects.
Lizzy Ellery, who is in the first year of the Textiles A-level programme, said: "I want to be a fashion designer and am hoping to go to the London College of Fashion after New College.
"The show is a great opportunity to showcase my work."
Lizzy will be modelling her Unit 2 project, which was inspired by the designer Antonio Marras of Kenzo.
Katie Brew from Old Town who is also studying A-level Textiles, will be modelling an eye-catching bright red bodice and skirt with sequins and beads sewn into the middle to resemble a poppy.
She said: "My outfit was inspired by the floral paintings of Georgia O'Keefe who was one of the set artists we studied on the unit."
Fabrication will take place on June 23 and 24 at 1.30pm then again at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £2.50 for a matinee and £5 for the evening.
