BLONDE bombshell Melinda Messenger will help celebrate a RAF base's world record.

The former Page 3 girl, will be flown into RAF Fairford by helicopter on June 7 to present a Guinness World Records certificate, officially recognising the base's air tattoo as the largest military airshow in the world.

Also on board will be veteran record-breaker Edwin Shackleton, of Bristol, who holds the record for having travelled in the largest number of different aircraft 814.

By arriving in RAF Merlin, Mr Shackleton will break his own record on the day.

War veterans from Swindon will also be attending the event.
