THE case against four men accused of assaulting a father-of-nine who was dragged along the road by his brother's stolen taxi has been adjourned for two weeks.
Matthew Gane, 24, Mark Gordon, 31, Colin Grant, 33, and Ronald Murray, 25, are charged with taking part in an attack on Rhana Miah before taking a car.
The four are accused of grievous bodily harm and taking without consent on February 6.
No charges were formally put to the men during a brief hearing at the crown court and no pleas have been entered.
Gane, of Baycroft Close, Coventry, Grant, of Cottington Close, Freshbrook, and Murray, of Windmill Road, Coventry, were remanded in custody.
Gordon, of Conyers Close, Grange Park, Swindon, was released on bail to the next hearing on Friday, June 10.
Mr Miah, 38, suffered a fractured skull after he was dragged 150 yards by his brother Tony's cab, which was taken from outside the Dilraj Indian restaurant in Faringdon Road.
