The parents and their toddlers gathered at Health Hydro in Milton Road yesterday afternoon to support Tommy's Splashathon.
Baby charity Tommy's funds medical research and offers advice to parents.
And swimming instructor Tina Mead said they hoped the Health Hydro event had raised hundreds of pounds. Last year's event raised £500.
"Babies and toddlers came in to have a play around in the water," she said. "Parents recognised that it was a good charity to support so anything we can raise will be fantastic."
Tommy's Splashathon is an annual event for babies, toddlers and young children. They are sponsored to swim a length or width of their local swimming pool, or simply have fun splashing.
