FORMER England hooker-turned BBC commentator Brian Moore presented the awards at Swindon RFC's annual dinner at Wanborough.
Moore, nicknamed Pitbull, entertained more than 150 club members and supporters with an after-dinner speech before handing the first team's players' player of the year accolade to fly-half Neil Maycock.
Player of the year was flanker and incoming vice-captain Jon Parker, whose outstanding form helped Swindon to the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division title.
Most improved player was first team prop Danny Webb, who fought his way back to his best after a career-threatening illness which saw him out for more than two years.
Prop Danny Way was rookie of the year and outgoing third team skipper Ken Hopkins picked up his side's players' player of the year award.
The second team award went to incoming vice-captain Steve Steele.
n BATH, England and British Lions legend Nigel Redman was the speaker at Chippenham RFC's end-of-season dinner.
More than 260 club members and guests attended, with the ladies team also invited.
It was also announced that the ladies' prolific try scorer Harriet Crockett will retire from rugby.

n SUMMER touch rugby sessions start tomorrow at Cirencester RFC (6.30pm).
The fun/fitness/skills tournament is open to anyone , male and female, and will take place every Wednesday evening from 6.30-8pm.
There will be two practice sessions with a league starting on June 8.
There will be a fitness assessment for all Cirencester senior and colts players on Thursday (5pm and 6.15pm), followed by the annual meeting (7.30pm).
