HEARTBROKEN cat lover Carole Hulland has appealed for the return of her 14-month-old moggy Lilly, who was last seen disappearing off in the back of a skip.
Lilly went AWOL on Thursday when she climbed into a skip that had been parked outside her home in Woodland Way, Devizes, just before it was driven off.
Mrs Hulland said: "Apparently drivers saw the cat in the back of the skip and flashed at the driver to stop. He did stop and Lilly jumped out and ran off towards the Focus DIY store.
"I have been up there to look for her but haven't been able to find her. She disappeared on the same day that one of my other cats died. I think she may have eaten poison.
"Lilly is a real chocolate box kitten. She is white and grey with a little yellow mark under her nose. She is wearing a Purple Hearts collar with a name tag."
Anyone who sees Lilly should ring Mrs Hulland on (01380) 728392.
