A CANCER charity shop is appealing for new volunteers to help out in the store.
Michelle Iveson, from Cancer Research UK in Havelock Street, said: "Everyone seems to have a new lease of life now that the clocks have gone forward and the nights are drawing out, giving us more time to do what we want.
"So why not give us just a few of your extra hours?
"There is so much to do at the shop and you never get a chance to get bored.
"Whether it's working on the till, helping behind the scenes sorting and processing the stock so generously donated to us, creating attractive displays or running a collective service if you have your own transport there is always something to suite all interests and skills."
If you are interested in helping out, for a minimum of two hours a week, call Ms Iveson on 01793 486 120 or you pop in and visit the shop in person on Havelock Street.
