Lauren Stepp and Freya Sharpes Picture Ref: 77583-33HIGHWORTH Rainbows have re-affirmed their promise at the official launch of their group.
The Fourth Highworth Rainbows was launched in February and this week, district commissioner Ruth Law presented the group with certificates of recognition.
For the 12 youngsters aged between five and seven, it was a big day as they re-affirmed their Rainbow Promise.
Ms Law, Guide district commissioner and a Brownie Pack leader said: "Rainbows, Guides and Brownies are popular in Highworth, the work they do is a framework for the girls to able to reach their full potential in life.
"They get involved in a variety of projects, and its popularity is surprising especially for the guide groups."
The new group joins the already full First Highworth Rainbows group, as well as the local Brownie, Guide and Ranger guide packs, all of which do a variety of community tasks in the town.
The new Fourth Highworth Rainbows follows on from the Second and Third Highworth Rainbow which were formed and disbanded after their guiders went on to pursue other things.
But Ms Law is confident that the Fourth Highworth Rainbows will be a permanent feature.
If you are interested in joining one of the group or in becoming a guider in Highworth call Ruth on 01793 764667.
