LATEST figures show the number of people killed or injured on Wiltshire's roads has fallen.
From April 1 2004 to March 31 2005 there were 384 people killed or seriously injured in road crashes, a reduction of 21 per cent. This year's figure was compared to an average figure taken from 1994 to 1998 statistics. Wiltshire and Swindon Safety Camera Partnership said speed cameras were encouraging drivers to slow down. Figures also showed a fall in the number of child casualties with 30 recorded cases of death or serious injury.
