A JAZZ and blues group is looking for a place to rehearse ahead of a one-night charity concert.
The five-piece band, from Trowbridge, will be taking to the stage at the Arc Theatre in July to raise money for the St Philips and St James HIV/AIDS project, which is aiming to send a church youth group to spend time working with people affected by the disease in Uganda.
Spokesman Matthew Charlton said: "We are very fortunate in that not only have local singers and musicians offered to take part for free, but local companies have helped fund the evening.
"This means that we will be able to give all the proceeds from the ticket sales directly to the project without having to pay off any expenses.
"We really hope we can sell out the event and raise the maximum funds. Our only obstacle now is finding somewhere in the Trowbridge area where we can all meet up and rehearse."
Anyone wanting to help can call (01225) 710001 or 07974 675834. Tickets for the event are available from the Arc Theatre box office on (01225) 756374.
