THE four men accused of assaulting 32-year-old Asa Freeman will stand trial in November. Lee Frisby, Paolo Rossi, Joel Bailey and Shane Flexon face a 10-12 day trial starting on November 7 at Swindon Crown Court.
Mr Freeman, 32, was injured on a night out in January in Trowbridge town centre.
He was in a coma for three months and is now being treated at the Royal Mineral Hospital in Bath.
All four men deny causing him grievous bodily harm and are on conditional bail following a crown court hearing on Friday.
Rossi and Flexon also deny a charge of causing actual bodily harm to Mr Freeman's friend Jason Delaney.
Bailey, 18, of Shrewton Close, Trowbridge, was bailed to live with his parents in the town. Flexon, 18, of College Road, was ordered to stay out of Trowbridge town centre. Frisby, 19, of Regents Place, was bailed to live in south Wales during the week and Honiton at weekends. Rossi, 19, of Newtown, was bailed to an address in Radstock, and told not to return to Trowbridge.
