As part of the school's annual charity fundraiser, children were asked to take part in a swimathon, a fun run or a five-a-side football tournament.
Science teacher Geoff Parkinson said: "I am extremely pleased with the effort that was put in by all the children."
It is hoped that the money raised by the 240 Year Eight pupils will be used on a performance space.
Andrew Milroy, secretary of the Friends of Trowbridge Community Sensory Garden, said: "The idea is that this area of the garden will be used for music or drama."
The garden is open from 10am to 1pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. Eventually the garden will be open every day, but at present it can only be used under supervision, as it is still a work in progress.
