Thieves used a knife to try to get into a red Fiat Fiat Punto in Wootton Bassett, causing damage to the central locking system.
The incident happened in Sorrell Close overnight on May 18. Anyone with information should contact Wootton Bassett police on 01752 852213 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
