FORREST Gump and Apollo 13 actor Gary Sinise performed with his band at RAF Fairford.
Mr Sinise's Lt Dan Band appeared at the Gloucestershire airbase to perform for the hundreds of airmen based there as part of a European tour of American bases.
The band is named after Mr Sinise's character in Forrest Gump, Lt Dan, who was disabled after fighting in the Vietnam conflict. So far the band, which has eight members, including Chicago composer Kimo Williams, Gina Gonzalez, and Mari Anne Jayme, have performed in the Netherlands, Germany and the American bases at Menwith Hill and Lakenheath.
On May 29, the band is to appear at the Memorial Day concert in Washington DC.
