A HUGE carpet made from flowers has lined the aisle at St Mark's Church in the Railway Village.
It took the church's volunteer group ten hours to make the 50 foot long carpet.
And they made sure every inch was carefully woven into place.
The carpet, which was mostly made up of fresh white chrysanthemums set in among lime leaves, marked the feast Corpus Christi.
Father David McConkey said: "The carpet is beautiful. It's all part of the church's flower festival."
He added: "The carpet was walked on at mass on Friday for the first time to exude its fragrance.
"Then it was taken up and the rest of the flower festival continued."
The flower festival is an annual event at St Marks, which lasts two weeks.
But this is only the second time the church has had a flower carpet.
Father McConkey added: "All of the volunteers worked very hard to make the carpet."
