PLEASE would Susan and Bianca Allen tell me where they buy their fish and chips? (Evening Advertiser, Page 7 May 25).
The young lady, Bianca, was so depressed at the price at her gym, which means she can no longer afford to go there, that she sought comfort in a nice portion of fish and chips.
As the increase in price takes the fee to £1.40, one can only assume the chippy is a much cheaper option.
As far as I am aware the average price for a portion is somewhere in the region of £2.50, not that I ever buy them as I prefer to take the easy way out and not eat them in the first place, therefore no gym fees are necessary.
